Quolink — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Quolink ("we", "us") is a Shopify application that helps merchants run influencer PR seeding campaigns. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can request its deletion.

2. What we collect

When a Shopify merchant installs Quolink:

• Store domain
• Shopify access token
• Store settings you configure inside Quolink

When a creator claims a PR gift through Quolink:

• Full name
• Email address
• Phone number (optional)
• Shipping address
• Social media handle
• Product variant selected
• Content link submitted after posting

When Shopify sends us order events:

• Fulfillment status, tracking numbers, and carrier info

3. Why we collect it

• Create a $0 Shopify order for the PR gift
• Ship the gift to the correct address
• Send transaction emails (claim link, reminder, content submission link)
• Track campaign progress for the merchant
• Detect and prevent abuse

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. We do not share it with any third party except the ones listed below.

4. Third-party services

• Shopify Inc. — for products, orders, and webhooks
• Resend (resend.com) — for sending transactional emails
• Fly.io — for application hosting and Postgres database

5. Data retention

Creator submissions (name, email, shipping address, content link) are retained for 12 months after the last activity. After that, they are deleted automatically.

Merchant store data is retained as long as the app is installed. It is deleted when the app is uninstalled.

6. Security

All traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Data is stored in an encrypted Postgres database. Access tokens are stored securely on the server and never exposed to the browser.

7. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by emailing support@quolink.online. We respond within 30 days.

If you are a resident of the EU or UK, you have rights under GDPR. If you are a California resident, you have rights under CCPA.

8. Cookies

Quolink's admin app runs inside Shopify admin and does not set third-party cookies. The creator claim page does not set cookies.

9. Children

Quolink is not intended for use by anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Quolink after changes means you accept the updated policy.
